The demise of prominent gospel artiste, Ekueme Crooner, Osinachi Nwachukwu has attracted endless reactions on social media from the weekend when the news broke till present.
Minstrel Osinachi who was first believed to have died as a result of throat cancer, was later reported to have died owing to domestic violence.
Her husband Mr Peter Nwachukwu has been alleged of several assaults as family members, friends and colleagues reported that he kicked her on the chest, which resulted to her developing blood cloth in her respiratory organ.
It was later gathered that Osinachi gave up the ghost 5 days later in the hospital.
One of her sisters while speaking on the incident said Peter would not allow them see Osinachi before she died and even denied them access to their four children.
Following the ugly incident, there have been several worrisome reactions on the social media and by the members of the public which includes Frank Edwards .
Frank Edwards who is also a gospel artiste wrote: “So that unreasonable human being finally put off a shining light. I won’t say much now , I’ll let the former NDDC director ( AUNTY Joy ) who did not see to stop this from happening talk 1st, but it still happened. we tried to stop this”.
Contrary to this assertion, a prominent female journalist, Dr Kemi Olunloyo dragged Frank Edwards on his reaction calling him stupid.
Olunloyo further accused Edward of stirring jealousy in the latter’s home by being her secret lover.
She wrote: “You’re STUPID! Were you not Osinachi Nwachukwu’s secret lover? Of course her own husband was “jealous” of her. Joy Nunieh should not be dragged into your foolishness. Joy is a real woman & strong one & she once slapped Akpabio for sexual harassment
TELL THE TRUTH.
“If I start to talk…..
Where are the Nigerian investigative journalists? Oh I forgot they don’t do celebrity news. Frank Edwards needs to be thoroughly questioned.
She continued: “Osinachi Nwachukwu got herself killed then her husband sold throat cancer to you. #Marriageisascam highlights this foolishness. She suffered years of abuse yet she chose to stay in it with her friends watching. The bastards are now vocal posting RIP everywhere”.

Meanwhile, Frank Edwards has just reacted with “Oh dear Lord and laughing emojis”.
His fans and netizens have however counselled him to sue Kemi Olunloyo not only because of himself but because of the false allegations against late Osinach.
Recall that the 42-year-old artist, died on Friday after spending days at an undisclosed hospital, in Abuja.
In another development, the police have arrested Peter Nwachukwu, Osinachi’s husband after claims of his incessant assault, which led to the death of the deceased.
A police source said Peter was arrested on Sunday afternoon.
The source said, “A young man who claimed to be a relative of the late woman came to report the matter at the station and the police went to arrest him at his residence.”
Meanwhile, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the development.
She said, “He is now in our custody. The younger brother of the deceased reported the matter and we have commenced investigation.”
Frank Edwards in one of his Instagram sessions on the sudden death of his colleague said:
“One time in a studio, this man slapped her just because she wanted to record the song in Igbo against his will. She does not do anything on her own.
“She would say, please beg my husband. She was at his mercy. I didn’t know the intensity of what she was going through; I didn’t know how somebody would be jealous of the wife he claimed to love.
“There are a lot of stories where people told her this and that, but what I know was that the control was too much. The other time somebody wanted me to get her for an event, and I contacted her, but she said ‘beg my husband’.
“She couldn’t even tell people what she was going through. I only got to know because Aunty Joy contacted me to promote her song. That was when I got a glimpse into what was happening.”
Another gospel artiste, Asu Ekiye, called for the arrest of her husband.
He said, “If what I hear about domestic abuse is anything to go by, then I hereby endorse the call for the arrest of the husband of Osinachi immediately for questioning.”
A woman, who claimed to be her friend, Chidinma Ezego, alleged that the late Osinachi told her the husband made her children flog her.
She said, “The husband has been beating and maltreating this woman, but she’s been dying in silence. Now, he kicked the woman on her chest and she’s been on life support for five days and finally died. Now, the man has been arrested and I pray he rots in jail. Remember how he tied her up and asked the children to beat her up with cane. She told me this.”
Also reacting, a former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, said the allegation of domestic violence worsened the pain of Osinachi’s death, calling on churches to take issues of violence against women seriously.
