Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, who is also the Mayegun of Yoruba land, and is popularly known as Kwam 1, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pardon embattled activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, who went on exile and stranded in Benin Republic after the FG accused him and his associates of planning a violent insurrection against the state under the disguise of Yoruba Nation.
Kwam 1 made the appeal through his song in a heartfelt statement aimed at promoting peace. The musician’s move is seen as significant, given his reputation as a peacemaker.
Recall that the activist fled Nigeria in June, 2021 to Cotonou, Benin Republic, following an invasion of his residence by the Department of States Services, DSS.
