LG Poll: OYSIEC Commences Distribution of Non-Sensitive Materials

Ahead of the May 22, 2021, Local government poll, the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, disclosed that it has begun the distribution of non-sensitive materials to its offices across the thirty-three local government areas of the state.

The chairman of the commission; Aare Isiaka Olagunju revealed this to newsmen at the commission’s headquarters, Agodi, Ibadan

The OYSIEC boss further disclosed that sensitive materials will be distributed just 24 hours before the local government poll stating that everything is in place to ensure that the election materials get to their destinations promptly.

He also disclosed that a web link and mobile hotlines would be made public for citizens’ response during the election.

Aare Olagunju also revealed that about ten thousand staff would be engaged in over four thousand polling units across the thirty-three local government areas of the state adding that the list of qualified candidates would be released tomorrow.
