The Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde has inaugurated a special taskforce to oversee the Ladoke Akintola Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso to ensure adequate implementation and accreditation of medical programmes at the hospital.
Makinde, who inaugurated the 8-member taskforce at the Executive Council Chamber, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan on Thursday, described it as a step further towards upholding standard of education in the state and country at large.
The taskforce chaired by Prof. Juwọn Adetiba, consists of members drawn from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, who have been tasked with diligent delivery.
Other members of the taskforce include Dr Adefemi Afolabi, Prof. Olawale Olakulehin, Prof. Adewale Adeyemi, Mrs C.A Abioye(Education), Dr Olusoji Adeyanju(Health), Mr Olufisayo Ogunjinmi (Public Works) and Dr Kayode Ogunleye, Registrar and Secretary to Council LAUTECH.
