Man Allegedly Kills Grandfather, Uncle in Apete Ibadan

A middle-aged man while can simply be identified as Ahmed, has allegedly killed his grandfather and uncle in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The incident occurred in Apete, part of Ido local government area of the state, around 6 pm on Sunday.

Policemen from Apete Divisional Police Headquarters were alerted shortly after the incident.

The victims reportedly reside in the same place with the suspect.

Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident.

Osifeso in a short statement made available to newsmen on Monday morning said that investigation had commenced on the matter.

He said, “The command has indeed received the complaint of a male suspect who allegedly killed his grandfather and his uncle.

“Investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances behind the incident. Updates concerning the case would be provided accordingly, please”.
