The annual Governor ‘Seyi Makinde’s Omituntun Ramadan Public lecture has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 30th of March, 2023.
According to reports, the topic for the 9th Omituntun Ramadan Lecture is ‘Consequence of Reliance on Nothing But Allah’, will be delivered by a guest lecturer, Sheik Daud Yusuf Alawiye while while the second lecture titled ‘Essence of Gratitude’ will be delivered by another guest lecturer, Sheik Hassim Atere.
OyoAffairs.net further gathered that the Chief Host is Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal is the host, Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, Chief Yekini Adeojo is the chairman of the day.
While the spiritual father of the day is Sheik Abdulganiy Agbotomokekere (Grand Chief Imam of Oyo State and Chief of Ibadanland), the Father of the day is Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola De Damak.
Mothers of the day are, Her Excellency, Alhaja Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja and Former Speaker of Oyo State, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu.
The Royal fathers of the day include, Oba Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun (Olubadan of Ibadanland) and His Imperial Majesty, Oba Khalid Olabisi (Okere of Saki).
In the meantime, the event will be held at the Government House Acarde, Agodi, Ibadan at 11am.
