A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Niyi Akintola SAN has maintained that members of the party will work for the re-election of Governor Makinde for delivering Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President-Elect of Nigeria.

Akintola, who made this known in a radio interview with Mayor Isaac Brown on “Political Circuit” on Fresh 105.9fm, maintained that members of the campaign committee at the national level realised the efforts of Governor Makinde in Tinubu’s emergence.

He added that Makinde gave tips, hints and matching order for mobilisation of Oyo residents for Tinubu’s victory.

“A lot of things are happening behind the curtain, members of the campaign committee, some of us, some sitting Governors visited Governor Makinde last monday to say thank you.

“Those who undermines the efforts of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde in the last presidential election are political naive,” he added.
