Oyo Clinches 5th Place Among Nigerian States With Foreign Investment in 2022

Oyo State government under the leadership of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has been ranked 5th among Nigeria states that attracted foreign investors in the year 2022.

The state in a data released by the Cable Index earlier today was said to have derived about 3 million US dollars from investors who have invested so much in the state economy.

Meanwhile, Lagos State was ranked first with over 3.6 billion dollars, Abuja second with over 1.6 billion dollars and Akwa Ibom came in the third rank with about 42.52 million dollars while Anambra State ranks fourth with about 36.97 million dollars.

Kogi, Kastina, Ekiti, Ondo and Plateau States were on the other hand, ranked between the position of 6th to 10th respectively.

Recall that OyoAffairs.net had earlier reported how Oyo State has increased drastically in percentage of internal and external generated revenue in the state since 2019 when the government of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde took the battle of power in the pace setter state.
