Oyo State Government has on Wednesday approved a whooping sum of 500 million naira as support for beneficiaries of the state’s Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project (YEAP) scheme.
The State made this decision during an executive council meeting presided by the acting Governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal and held at the state secretariat.
The state in a tweet shared on the official X formerly known Twitter handle of the state Government added that the support is provided in collaboration with the First Monument City Bank (FCMB) adding that this development is intitiated under the SAfER program of the state.
The tweet reads;
“The Oyo State Executive Council (ExCo) met today and approved the sum of N500 million as enterprise support to Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project (YEAP) beneficiaries.
“The N500 million was approved for YEAP beneficiaries under the Sustainable Actions for Economic Recovery (SAfER) programme. The support is being provided in collaboration with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) which will be providing an additional N1 billion making a total of N1.5 billion.
