Governor Makinde Says He is in Good Term with Coalition Parties, Vows not to Sack APC Civil Servants

Governor Seyi Makinde has promised not to jeopardize the career of the alleged APC members among the civil servants in Oyo state because of political gains.

Governor Makinde gave the standing order this Wednesday, during People’s Democratic Party Expanded Stakeholder’s Meeting, held at the State PDP Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan.

Speaking at the state party meeting which was the first of its kind after the last general election, Governor Makinde maintained that he is still in good term with the coalition parties, adding that there are many avail positions to be filled by members of the coalition parties.

Governor Makinde who also promised to release funds to the 33 Local government Areas in the state, called for peace and corporation among the party members.

In his speech, the PDP chairman in
Oyo state, Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha, enjoined public office holders under the umbrella of PDP to extend their opportunities to other party members.

He, however, urged PDP members who are yet to get any political appointment to exercise patience and charged them to up their games ahead of the 2023 general elections.

In her remark, a PDP chieftain, Alhaja Bose Adedibu, requested maximum Inclusion of women in political and socio-economic development of Oyo state.

Some of the dignitaries of the party present at the meeting include, the Deputy Governor, engineer Rauf Olaniyan; the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin; Chief of Staff, chief Bisi Ilaka; Oyo state PDP Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, amongst others.
