Oyo Govt Approves N9.3 Billion for Purchase of 106 Public Transportation Buses

The Oyo state government has approved N9.3 billion for the immediate purchase of 106 Brand New Buses to serve as state based public transport system.

The state commissioner for youth and sports, Mr. Seun Fakorede, stated this on Wednesday, while briefing the state house correspondents on the outcome of the 29th executive council meeting.

Mr. Fakorede noted that the 106 buses will not only operate within the state but will also resume interstate travels when supplied.

The council also approved N2.5 Billion to rehabilitate critical dilapidated junctions within the Ibadan metropolis and to also erect Intelligent Transportation System.
