Oyo Govt Holds Stakeholders’ Consultative Meeting On Year 2021 Budget

Oyo state government, this Thursday, held Oyo South Senatorial district stakeholders’ consultative meeting on the year 2021 budget.

The town hall meeting held at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan and presided over by the Executive Governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde, was said to be part of the state government’s efforts to ensure wide consultations on the state’s 2021 Budget.

In his address, governor Makinde noted that the consultative meeting became imperative to ensure that the good people of Oyo state get value For their Monies even in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Governor Makinde expressed his determination to pursue and implement policies that will satisfy the yearnings of the people of the state in the 2020 and 2021 budgets.

In his speech, the state Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Barrister Adeniyi Farinto, maintained that the government will imbibe the principles of equity and participatory approach in the forthcoming budget.

Oyo Affairs Correspondent, reports that the Oyo Central and Oyo North session of the Town Hall meeting on the 2021 budget will hold soonest.
