The Oyo state government has launched a recruitment portal for primary school teachers.
The portal, which was announced by Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), on Tuesday, aims to fill vacancies in public primary schools across the state.
The state government plans to recruit 7,000 teachers and 100 caregivers for public primary schools. The application portal will begin accepting applications at 6:00 p.m. today, June 25, 2024, and will remain open for three weeks, closing on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
After the portal closes, applicants will be shortlisted for a computer-based test, followed by an oral interview for those who pass the test.
Dr. Adeniran urged the public to cooperate with the Oyo state government and the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) and advised applicants to provide all required information, as failure to do so may disqualify them from taking the computer-based test.
He emphasized that the application is free, and applicants should not pay anyone to apply or to get shortlisted. Any issues or complaints should be directed to the board via the phone numbers and email addresses listed on the job portal.
