Oyo Govt to Commence Verification of 235 PSPs Today (See Schedule)

The Oyo State government through the Oyo State Waste Management Authority, OYOWMA has announced the screening schedule for private sector participants, PSPs in the state.

PSPs are expected to arrive 8:00a.m – 4.00 p.m daily to their allotted centres of verification.

The venue is the front of the transport pool in the State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

The verification exercise was organised by OYOWMA in collaboration with Monttainai Recycling Limited.

According to report, this development is coming after the reading of the riot act by the state government on wastes management.

The statement partly read: “It is a must that permanent allocations, which would be capacity based, be urgently drawn”.

PSP owners have therefore been enjoined to check through the photos below to note their respective date of interview, for verification of their operating trucks.

The verification for all the 235 PSPs who reapplied to work with the new waste architecture in the state, commences on Monday, 1st August through Friday, 5th August, 2022.
