Oyo State Govt begins Training of 60 Civil and Public Servants

The Oyo State government has commenced a 6-month career advancement course for sixty secretariat assistants in the Oyo State Civil and public service (Batch V).



The state commissioner for establishment and training, Alhaji Siju Lawal, launched the event on behalf of the Oyo State governor and stated that he approved the 6-month professional course to achieve a well-trained workforce that can best serve both government and populace.



The commissioner added that the 6-Month Mandatory Career Advancement Course for Secretarial Assistants is structured to uplift the grade level of participants from grade level 9 and subsequently to 10 and 12.



He further revealed that the state’s readiness to train and retrain its staff is borne out of the need to level the platform for Oyo state workers to be able to compete favourably with workers from other states and the world at large and also improve their efficiency in delivering top-notch output for the state.
