A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Wasiu Nurudeen, has endorsed Governor Seyi Makinde as a potential future president of Nigeria. Speaking at a press conference in Ibadan on Saturday, Nurudeen praised the governor’s economic acumen and his commitment to paying civil servant salaries on time.
Nurudeen also commended Makinde’s achievements in infrastructure development, agriculture, healthcare, and other sectors of the economy. He noted that the governor had done more for people living with disabilities than any other past administration in the state.
“The purpose of this press conference is to remind our people of the good things Makinde has done and to appeal to him that we need him at the national level in the future,” Nurudeen said. “He has demonstrated capability and economic dexterity in the last four years, and we believe he has the potential to become president in the future.”
