The Vice-President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo; the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan; Oyo Deputy Governor, Aderemi Olaniyan had today attended the final burial of Angela Folarin, the wife of a three-term Senator representing Oyo Central, Teslim Folarin.
The deceased who passed away on January 28, 2022 in the family London home at the age of 48, was buried in a mausoleum built in a private cemetery, Eternal Home; at Motunde town of Afijio local government, Oyo state.
Meanwhile, the lawyer’s lying-in-state was earlier held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bodija Extension; from where Folarin, his son — Faisal and other family members proceeded to Eternal Home, Motunde, Afijio for the internment.
Also in attendance were Adebayo Adelabu, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2019 election; Sunday Dare, Minister of Youth and Sports, Senators AbdulFatai Buhari and Kola Balogun, Oyo North and South respectively, House of Representatives’ members like Akeem Adeyemi, Akin Alabi, Musiliu Akinremi and Joseph Tegbe.
Others include —Adeolu Akande, Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC; Zacch Adedeji, Director General of the Nigeria Sugar Development Commission; Yunus Akintunde, senSatorial Aspirant in Oyo Central; Isiaka Kolawole and Idris Adeoye, Secretary Member of the APC Elders’ Advisory Council; Musiliu Obanikoro and Segun Odebunmi, three-term reps member.
Apart from the new executive of the APC who mobilised from all the local government areas in the state, Ahmed Raji (SAN); Adedapo Lam-Adesina, Olusunbo Olugbemi, Ifeanyi Uba, Audu Marafa, Kayode Adanla, Mojeed Olaoya, Dayo Iyaniwura, were all in attendance.
