The late Chief Imam of Sepeteri, Alhaji Abdul Hammed Salaudeen Ariremako was laid to rest this morning at his residence at Oke Agoro Sepeteri as family members and well-wishers sobbed uncontrollably.
The funeral was attended by top Islamic leaders and community leaders across Oke Ogun.
Dignitaries present are the Lawmaker representing Saki East and Atisbo Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ridwan Gbadamosi, the Caretaker Chairman Saki East Local Government Area, Alhaja Rahamat Adeniran and a League of Imams across Saki East Local Government and Oke Ogun environ.

The Chief Imam of Ogbooro, Sheikh Hussein Abdulsalam Ayeniromo (Abu Ridoh) praised the late Imam and consoled the family. In his sermon, he asserted that the late cleric lived a fulfilled life.
The Chairman, Nigerian Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs Saki East Local Government, Alfa Lawal Akeem Olasunkanmi implored Muslim faithful to let peace reign as there is already an ongoing process to fill the vacant position and a new chief Imam will be announced at the appropriate time.
He urged them to accept whoever chosen in good faith.

The Chairman of Sepeteri Muslim community, Alhaji Jimoh Kareem Salam Alaikum confessed that the late Imam was a symbol of peace and unity among the Muslim community. He also appreciated everyone who came for the burial and those who have commiserated with them through various platforms.
Alhaji Kareem also prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the deceased paradise and give the family and the entire Muslim community the fortitude to bear the loss
