Oke–Ogun Poly Set to Receive NBTE Officials for Accreditation of 27 Academic Programmes

No fewer than 90 resource persons and NBTE staff will be arriving at the Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki (TOPS) for the accreditation of courses.

The institution in a release signed by the registrar, Alh. Jimoh Adigun and made available to newsmen, noted that the accreditation team would start arriving from Sunday 8th January, 2023, for the accreditation and re-accreditation of 27 academic programmes run by the institution.

The institution further disclosed that the NBTE staff and resource persons will arrive from various places across the country between Sunday and Monday, while the plenary session between officials of TOPS and NBTE Staff will hold on Tuesday morning.

The NBTE is the agency responsible for quality control of polytechnic and other technical institutions in Nigeria.

To ensure the success of the accreditation programme, the Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has provided the required financial and moral support to the institution. This gesture is appreciated by the governing council, management, staff and students of the institution.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Rector of the institution, Dr (Surv.) Sikiru Adetona Ajibola and his management team have put in place all the logistics and equipment required by the NBTE to ensure the success of the routine academic quality control exercise by the regulatory body.
