Oyo Government Announces Readiness To Recruit 7,000 Teachers, 2,000 Non-Teachers, 1600 Night-Guards

The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has approved the recruitment of 7,000 teachers, 2,000 non-teaching staff, 1600 Night-guards into the Post-Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission, (TESCOM).

This was disclosed on Tuesday by the chairman, Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Pastor Akin Alamu, while briefing the state house correspondents on the Government readiness to boost the state education Slsector by recruiting more teachers.

Pastor Alamu hinted that the Oyo state government is inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates who will fill existing vacancies in the Public Secondary Schools.

He added that all applicants are to get the application forms for free at the Oyo State Post Primary Schools’ Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Secretariat, Ibadan or the nearest TESCOM Zonal Offices in Saki, Oyo, Ogbomoso, Eruwa from Tuesday, 11th February 2020 to Monday, 24th February 2020.

Other existing vacancies in the Public Secondary Schools include: Assistant Executive Officer (General Duties), Assistant Executive Officers (Accounts), Secretaries/Typists, clerical officers, Day/Night Watchmen.
