REVEALED! How Hon Muraina Allegedly Mobilized APC Thugs To Attack PDP Campaign in Igangan

An attack in Igangan Axis of Oyo State after the PDP Campaign on Tuesday has been revealed to have been masterminded by one Hon. Ajibola Muraina who mobilised Thugs of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to destabilise the campaign.

A witness who pleaded anonymity spoke to Oyo Affairs on the case claiming that the convoy of the campaign train was attacked by APC Boys, sponsored by Hon Ajibola Muraina, a former PDP member who is currently serving as the Federal Representative representing Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North constituency.

“The rally was a success, and on our way out of Igangan, these thugs blocked the convoy demanding for money. Some of the thugs were settled, while others still wanted to get more money. As the convoy moved, they pelted a few vehicles. The security operatives, instead of retaliating by shooting at them, arrested some and were taken to Ibadan,” – The source told Oyo Affairs.

The source further maintained that the arrival of the PMS chairman, Alhaji Mukaila Auxiliary was only after the campaign was already a success and the team were far on their way to the next town to campaign.

“It was after we had left that we heard some of these thugs that scampered for safety when the DSS arrested a few of them, came back to the road and mounted a roadblock preventing the PMS disciplinary chairman auxiliary who had just arrived into Igangan and met the roadblocks. The sponsored thugs attacked the PMS boys, and that’s it.
