ASUU Strike: LAUTECH 100 level Students Resume, Commence Lectures

As the Oyo State Government continues in its effort to ensure that students and workers of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, resume fully, freshers admitted for the 2022/2023 session have resumed and commenced lectures.

A tour of the University by Oyo Affairs correspondents showed that freshers in various departments have completed their registration process and started to receive lectures.

Recall that the University had joined the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, earlier in the year but had been mandated by the Oyo State Government to pull out of the strike.

Meanwhile, when queried about when the rest of the student body will resume, a source within the government said that efforts are still being made to ensure that everyone resumes to work and the classroom.
